Who Will Win The 2018 Royal Rumble?

The road to Wrestlemania is going to begin in a few weeks. This is the start of the most exciting part of the year in the wrestling world. As a major wrestling fan, I can't wait for all the mania to begin. The first area on the road to Wrestlemania is the 2018 Royal Rumble. For those of you who don't know what the Royal Rumble match is, it's a huge 30-man battle royal where 29 of the 30 men must be tossed over the top rope and both of their feet must touch the floor for the them to be eliminated. The last man standing wins the match and gets a WWE world title shot at Wrestlemania. Who will go to New Orleans and get this coveted world title match? Will it be John Cena? Will it be Finn Baylor? Will it be Randy Orton? Will it be Kevin Owens? Woken Matt Hardy? Jeff Hardy? Bray Wyatt? Who?

I'm predicting right here that it will be Roman Reigns who wins this year's Royal Rumble and goes on to Wrestlemania. I'm also predicting that Brock Lesnar is going to retain the WWE Title all the way to Wrestlemania, and it will be a rematch from two years ago of Reigns vs Lesnar. Two years ago at Wrestlemania the two of them had an epic confrontation. They beat the living hell out of each other over the title. Just as it looked like things were about to reach a climax, Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract (this was the first time a cash-in had ever happened at Wrestlemania) and inserted himself into the match just as Lesnar and Reigns were both very fatigued. If my memory serves me correctly I believe Rollins did a Curb Stop (a move that is now banned) to Reigns and he pinned him to become the new WWE Champion. While I believe this was one of the greatest moments in Wrestlemania history, it did take away from the fact that the match was originally supposed to be just Reigns vs Lesnar. We never got to see who would win between these two absolute goliaths.

When these two men meet again, I believe the confrontation will be even more amazing than the first. And this time it will hopefully not turn into a wild dusty finish. I want to see a clean victory between one of these two men. I want to see a great match. I don't want any nonsense.

But how do I know that Roman Reigns will win the Royal Rumble? There's no way to know for sure. The Rumble match can be a little fickle. A lot of it is based on the luck of the draw. What number you draw for your entrance into the match greatly determines your chances. Some men, such as Shawn Michaels, have been able to win the Rumble match while drawing as the very first entrant. However, this amazing feat is very rare. Usually the people who win draw a number in the 20s. I believe Reigns will get lucky and get a decent number. But even if he has to start the match early on, Roman Reigns' physical ability will pull him through. Reigns is a big strong man with much stamina. If anybody could last over an hour in the Rumble it's Roman Reigns. At the end of the night I predict Reigns will be victorious and he'll point to the Wrestlemania sign, foreshadowing his forthcoming encounter and Wrestlemania.

How do I know Brock Lesnar will still be champion at Wrestlemania time? Well, quite simply, even though I hate Brock Lesnar, the man is a beast. He's a physical freak of nature. I don't believe anybody will stand in his way until Wrestlemania (not even Braun Strowman or Kane).

I can't wait for Wrestlemania! It all begins now!
